Is Photo Upscaler free?
Yes. You can upload a supported picture, pick 2x, 3x, or 4x, and download the result without signing up.
What file types work?
The tool supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, BMP, TIFF, and GIF images. Standard image files can be up to 20 MB, and GIF files can be up to 50 MB. HEIC, HEIF, AVIF, and JPEG XL are not supported by the current upscaling engine.
Can I upscale animated GIFs?
Yes. Short animated GIFs can be processed and returned as larger animated files.
How large can my image be?
Uploaded pictures should be 8000 px or smaller on each side. GIFs should be 15 seconds or shorter and 300 frames or fewer.
